The Adelaide Central Market makes a great destination for Australian food tours. The142 year old market is a perfect day trip or short stay for those traveling from Melbourne, and it is considered by some professional chefs to be "the epicenter for food in South Australia". It is not as big as the Queen Victoria market in Melbourne, but it's got lots of character.
The market is a smorgasbord for foodies where a village-like atmosphere prevails. An owner of a gourmet stall in the market called Providore also runs tours of the market. He guides small groups through the stands of fruits, vegetables and gourmet cheese, past bakeries and coffee shops, as he showcases the highlights and gives a bit of a history lesson to guests as well. From the chocolate fountain at Providore to the menu at Lucia's Pizza and Spaghetti Bar, there is something for every taste at the Adelaide Central Market.

An acclaimed Oaxacan chef, restaurant owner and cooking school operator has recently launched a cooking tour program in Oaxaca, Mexico. This program offers fully personalized, custom designed tours of Oaxaca for small groups of chefs, foodies and fans of Mexican cuisine. Oaxaca is considered the gastronomic capital of Mexico, with culinary traditions dating back to the era of the Spanish Conquest.
The Spanish introduced many new foodstuffs to the state which were combined with the already rich and diverse indigenous food culture. Today, you can taste this tradition in Oaxaca's famous moles, tlayudas, pozole, estofados and more. Tour participants will have an opportunity to design their own tour, with suggestions from the tour organizers based on particular culinary passions and curiosities. Cooking classes will be held with renowned local chefs, along with visits to native marketplaces, fine restaurants, and roadside eateries.

Couples who like cooking can now choose from a variety of cooking classes as per their convenience. Culinary experts like Cambridge culinary, Le Cordon Bleu and Stir are running cooking classes for couples, while Le Chef Mobile has come up with an innovative idea about running their cooking classes directly for the couples at their homes making the art of cooking fun and a lot easier.
The idea is to conduct cooking classes in the privacy of their residence place as most of the clients don't have any time to attend cooking classes at culinary schools. Recession has pumped home cooked meals back, which leads to increase in cooking classes for people to learn cooking as they haven't cooked at home in years.
Le Chef Mobile has featured on NBC, Boston Globe and various community newspapers.
